Former Bookseller, Current Chick
But it's so much fun to play with. :DIf I wasn't so in love with Readerware, I'd be tempted just to use LibraryThing instead.
mwahahahahaha another convert. Welcome to the ranks of the Thingamabrarians.
Now you've started you won't be able to stop!!Rosina was the one who put me onto it in the first place!!
You'll know you're really addicted when you find yourself repeatedly paging through your library in graphical shelf view because it's just so satisfying to admire your collection, and checking your profile page to see if anyone new has cropped up on "users with your books."
LOL...this is totally addicting and Susan, I am REALLY addicted because I ALWAYS look at my graphical shelf! LOL...it's so pretty! hehe.Welcome to LibraryThing, BSC.Oh yeah and I'm Dylan.
Now you've done it!Given me another process to expend my energies upon ... sigh ...
Oh, dear. I tried LibraryThing and then let it go as too time consuming and a duplication of effort.I use HomeBase to catalogue my personal library. It's a book-listing program that I use to list to abe and alibris. I downloaded a copy to my home computer, and use it for my personal collection too. It has useful features including a place for notes and the ability to group books by subject. It’s easy to use, and it’s free.
